My Mission: Faith, Family and Loyalty

It’s easy to fall victim to acting out a script you think has been written for your life. I would know — I’ve done it.

I used to think the trajectory my life would take had already been decided, and I was powerless against it.

Now, I know I was wrong. And I want to help others realize their full potential, too. Because you’re the only one who gets to choose how to live your life.

Growing up in Shreveport, Louisiana, this was hard to believe — my brothers and I were focused on what we’d eat for dinner the next day, or whether our home would have power the next week. Not where we’d be in 10 years. After losing both parents and just barely scraping by financially, I lived with a day-to-day mindset, assuming that this was just the way my life was going to be.

Your Attitude Predicts Your Outcomes

A shift in mindset and attitude allowed me to break free from a path of darkness and negativity. I’m no stranger to hardship, but despite the obstacles I’ve had to push through, I now have a degree in psychology from the University of Missouri, and I am pursuing my dreams of playing professional football. By staying true to myself, my core values, and my positive role models, I have been able to overcome challenges I never thought possible.

Now, I want the struggles I’ve faced and my triumphs over them to inspire others to change their lives the way I changed mine: by rising above the forces that try to pull you down and choosing positive influences over negative ones. It’s a daily decision, and one that’s easier said than done.

But this is your life. Isn’t it worth giving it your all for your best shot at success?

I am available for a variety of speaking engagements designed for youth and young adults. I enjoy connecting with younger generations about positive role models, motivation, perseverance, overcoming hardship, and achieving goals. You can’t control everything, but you can control your attitude and the way you approach your life.
